Student Government Association (SGA)
All Lakeview College of Nursing students are Student Government Association (SGA)members. Officers are elected, but every student has a voice in shaping the student experience.
What SGA Does
- Provides opportunities for students to give input.
- Reviews and coordinates student government business.
- Serves as ex-officio members on organizational committees.
- Hosts Open Forums where students can share feedback. The Director of Assessment attends these forums to gather data for program improvement. Feedback and action steps are reported back to students at SGA meetings.
Student Involvement in Improvement
Students contribute to the ongoing quality of the program through:
- Course and faculty evaluations
- Surveys (Noel-Levitz and Skyfactor)
- Online suggestion box
Faculty and administration use this input to guide curriculum development, course refinement, and institutional improvements.
Membership & Eligibility
