If an RN has completed a 2 hour gerontology course they will need to submit a syllabus to the Director of Enrollment for evaluation. The Faculty Organization will make the final determination of whether the courses meet LCN criteria. In cases where there is a question, the Dean of the College of Nursing will be consulted.
(P) RNs also have the opportunity to portfolio out of one of these courses. Please go to this link for more information on portfolio requirements.
